The apartment

LOFT – Battery Point provides a sense of sleeping amongst the treetops and being able to watch the ebb and flow of the neighbourhood from a secret picture framed window. From the rooftop terrace you enjoy the view of chimneys and roofs similar to a European town, vistas of Mount Wellington and the cityscape, New Year’s Eve fireworks over the river, and a northerly aspect of the sun. The space is private, secure and curated in a contemporary eclectic style with all the accouterments you could need.
Cook, eat, drink, work (if you must), browse through the library of books, listen to music via a Sonos® sound system, and, relax cocooned in stylish comfort.

LOFT – Battery Point is suitable for couples only and access is via 15 stairs from the street and an internal ladder to the rooftop terrace.

The kitchen is fully equipped so you can prepare your own meals. Whilst there isn’t private parking, there is street parking and a nearby parking lot.

LOFT – Battery Point has complimentary Wi-fi, a washing machine & drier, Smart TV with Netflix, YouTube, etc and a SONOS® music system for your listening pleasure.

 

The location

De Witt street is one of the most well-known streets in Battery Point; a wide tree-lined street, an ever changing view of Mount Wellington and within this heritage neighbourhood you will be surrounded by original cottages and historic homes.

A 2 minute walk down the street you will find the well-known Jackman and McRoss Bakery, Da Angelo’s Ristorante, Pollen Teahouse, and much more.

Kelly’s Steps is literally 4 minutes walk away - they will lead you down to the central Salamanca area with its Saturday market, pubs, restaurants, galleries and other shopping. All on your doorstep. Much of Hobart is within 10 minutes by foot, by Uber, or rental scooter ….
